When Friday Night Lights wrapped up season three, the writers gave each of the main characters an interesting future. Now with the show coming back for a fourth (and even a fifth and likely final season), it sounds like the futures the writers decided upon will be changed. The Future: While at college, the stunning tall drink of water attracts the attention of plenty of college boys. Her and everybody's favourite Christian rocking nerd Landry break it off. Tyra earns her business degree but somewhere along the way realizes that something is missing ...

Landy Clarke
When we left off: He was a staying in Dillon as a junior.
The Future: Landry stays at Dillon High and graduates top of his class. He heads off on academic scholarships to the Ivy League but returns often to Dillon and Texas to see his family. Landry earns a master's and doctorate in physics and makes an exciting breakthroughs in the energy industry. He creates his own company and ...

marries Tyra. She heads up his company's marketing arm and with street smarts, guts and personality helps it become extremely successful. The pair base the company in Texas because they realize they love the state.

Matt Saracen
When we left off: Always the guy trying to do the right thing, Matt opts to stay in Dillon with his grandma.
The Future: Like Smash Williams before him, Matt is offered a management opportunity with the Tastee Freeze. He is able to be based in Dillon but does have to travel. Matt also coaches part-time for East Dillon with his mentor Eric Taylor. While Matt earns a reputation as an innovative offensive mind, in his spare time he pursues correspondence courses in art. Over the years he breaks up with ...

Julie Taylor
When we left off: Julie was headed for her senior year of high school.
The Future: Julie eventually heads off to college on the east coast. She is not too sure what she wants to do in life so studies both dance and journalism. Eventually she decides she wants to ... be a teacher like her parents.
She also realizes that her and Matt need to be together. They reunite and, taking Grandma Saracen with them, move to the Boston area. Julie teaches English and is the student newspaper advisor at a prestigious private school. Matt works as a freelance artist and, while earning big money working for others, has a series of success graphic novels. The couple travel frequently to Texas to visit Landy and Tyra.

Tim Riggins
When we left off: He was headed to San Antonio State to play football.
The Future: Riggins find the party school atmosphere if San Antonio State much to his liking. Over, it results in him getting kicked off the football team and out of school. Riggins returns to Dillon and is shocked to see how hard Billy has to work to make ends meet for his family.
Riggins returns to San Antonio State and eventually captains the squad as a senior. He is a late round draft pick but earns his way into the NFL for five seasons. After that he takes his business degree and returns to Dillon where he helps the Riggins Brothers garage expand and also invests in other businesses. He marries a former rally girl, becomes a big booster at Dillon High and eventually becomes the mayor of Dillon.

When we left off: Headed to Vanderbilt
The Future: The brunette with the amazing rack earns a degree in international studies and becomes a diplomat at the UN. She marries a fellow high ranking official but always has a soft spot for Tim Riggins and ...

Jason Street
When we left off: Working as a low level sports agent in New York and supporting his girlfriend and son.
The Future: Jason's charismatic personality helps him become very successful. He becomes a partner in the agency, marries his girlfriend and has more children. He remains friends with Lyla and heads back to Texas whenever he can to visit Tim. The lifelong best friends eventually buy the land they talked about in the series' first episode. During his career, Jason represents both Tim, Smash Williams and J.D. McCoy.

Smash Williams
When we left off: Making a college football team as a walkon and doing well
The Furture: Smash becomes an All-American and is a high NFL draft pick. The first thing he does is but his mom a great house in the city where he was drafted to play. Smash enjoys a 10-year NFL career featuring a number of Pro Bowl appearances. After retiring he uses his personality to carve out a very successful broadcasting and advertising career.

J.D. McCoy
When we left off: Headed into his sophomore year of high school
The Future: Pushed too hard by his father, J.D. flames out in college. He returns to Dillon where he faces his father's wrath. Riggins hears about the kid's plight and sets him up with Street. Jason helps him get an NFL tryout and, after earning a job as a backup, blossoms into a Pro Bowl quarterback.

Coach Taylor
When we left off: Headed to East Dillon as head coach
The Future: After a rough couple yeas with the upstart East Dillon program, Taylor leads his squad deep into the Texas state playoffs. He gets college offers but decides to stay in Dillon with Gracie Bell and his wife. After J.D. graduates, Buddy and the Dillon boosters try to get him to return but Coach is happy with what he has built at East Dillon.

When we left off: Back for another year as principal at Dillon High
The Future: The hot, red-headed MILF raises her youngest daughter in Dillon and enjoys a long career as principal. Like her husband, she has offers to move on but she discovers she loves the town.

While May, Walsh and others have hogged the beach volleyball spotlight for the past few years, the duo of Michelle More and Suzanne Stonebarger has earned fans with not only their play but stunning looks. The athletic hotties will definitely earn many more fans with their current pictorial in Playboy.

Anyone hoping to watch some awesome babes in the 2009 French Open finals had to be disappointed. Defending champ Ana Ivanovic, Jelena Jankovic, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Maria Kirilenko ... all eliminated.

The finals? The No. 1 player in the world (according to the computer) Dinara Safina and Svetlana Kuzetsova. We will say that Safina has played very well (with a couple of hiccups), but she is not a looker, no disrespect intended.

How about Kuzetsova? One article details how she is treated differently than Sharapova because of her looks. Kuzetsova is definitely in great shape, is known for being very nice and there is a cuteness to her. But is she a hottie?

If you have a thing for tall women, then you should have been Down Under recently. Australian Olympic team center Suzy Batkovic got married and her bridesmaids were (at left) former WNBA MVP Lauren Jackson of the Seattle Storm, Trisha Fallon and Penny Taylor, who has been injured and might or might not rejoin the Phoenix Mercury this year. The basketball beauties all played together on the Aussie national team.

Swedish swimming star Therese Alshammar's attempts to keep her breasts concealed have cost her a world record.
On March 17, the 31-year-old hottie (check out her body here) who was once voted Sweeden's sexiest woman set the record in the 50m butterfly. She posted a time of 25.44sec, which was 0.02 of a second better than the record she set in Barcelona in June, 2007.
However, the former Olympic medalist was stripped of the record. FINA has a rule which mandates that swimmers can only wear one suit. Officials say swimmers sporting two high-tech suits have an unfair advantage as there is greater compression and flotation.

Alshammar was wearing two when she set the record. The idea was to keep her ta-tas covered up. Her suit was uni-sex so it wasn't quite cut for her body. As well, these suits are skin tight and some can become almost see-through when wet.

"I have obviously not understood the rules of the Australian championships. I was wearing a unisex suit which does not cover my chest completely so I need to wear an old cut-down suit underneath. I thought it was a modesty suit. It's just so I don't fall out the side, to feel more comfortable."

The meet she set the record in was in Australia. The Aussies have a rule allowing "modesty suits," but it only allows for bikini briefs.

"I thought a modesty suit would be a modesty suit," Alshammar told Channel 10 television. "I would almost claim that's a bit sexist saying that the men can cover their private parts up with briefs and women can only also wear briefs.

"I would totally, even though I'm Swedish, understand that a modesty suit would be to cover your modest parts. I guess you can't even wear a modesty suit any more."

Appparently in Beijing, swimmers wearing more than one suit had great success. Italian hottie Federica Pellegrini set a record when she won the 200m freestyle at the Olympics.
Aussie babe Stephanie Rice is in favour of the extra suit ban and questions why an athlete would wear one as the rules have been publicized. Of course, Rice has proven to be one not to worry about her modesty. Remember the Olympian's controversial Facebook pics?

The AVP has unveiled some sexy ads for the upcoming beach volleyball tour. In one of the ads, they actually brought in a model's butt to use (see it here). Why would you bring in someone else when you have one of greatest bums in the world already - Misty May-Treanor's?

It is so hot that former President Bush was scared to tough it for fear he would be burned. Why else wouldn't a heterosexual male want to slap that fine thing?

Like any company, the AVP beach volleyball tour wants to market its best face. It just so happens that face is actually an ass (See the New York Times article here). With all the ridiculously toned bodies on the beach, the AVP has launched a print, online and outdoor ad campaign that features - among other things - butts.

The behind above is that of AVP player Tyra Turner (pictured). It is kind of funny though that with all the hot bodies the sport does have that in another ad (which you can see here) a "stunt butt" had to be used.

That's right - they brought in a model to use. Why didn't they just use Misty May-Treanor's stupendous buttocks? The ad campaign does reportedly use Kerri Walsh (not sure which body part), who has partnered with Misty May-Treanor, who is recovering from a serious injury sustained during her work on Dancing with The Stars, to win Olympic gold medals and various championships.

Interestingly enough, the person who oversees the AVP's marketing is Kristine Lefebvre. You might remember her from her sting on the Apprentice. Or maybe you recall she was a Playboy covergirl?

WNBA star and former Lady Vols standout Candace Parker got the cover of ESPN the magazine. So, what ate people fired up about? The fact the reporter, a woman, references the fact that Shelden Williams' baby mama has got C-cup ta tas (actually, due to ger pregnancy, they are might be approaching D-cup territory).

A flight attendant did the run of shame as she completed part of the Amazing Race wearing a thong. A member of each two-person team had to complete an about 1.4 mile run through some cold streets in Siberia in only their underwear.
Christie did it in just a thong and bra. The 37-year-old blonde might not be the hottest girl on the show but she looked pretty good in her thong and bra, although they pixelated out her butt (WATCH it here). She had very little be ashamed of - although her team finished last. However, they were not eliminated but will have to deal with a "speed bump" challenge next week.

Finishing just a head of her was Jennifer, who played volleyball at the University of Louisville. As she said she does not wear underwear they first had to get her a pair before she started the race. The striped pair she wore were not exactly Victoria Secrets-style hot, but this long and lean former college athlete looked pretty good.

Another female trotting in her skivves was Cara. This former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and her partner Jamie are the show's top lookers. Cara looked pretty good in her mismatched coloured undies, however she did not run too much. The UCLA grad also bitched for a bit about how no one was whistling at her and then seemed to be a little happier when a guy tried to hit on her.

The others running were men and we don't need to talk about them. Host Phil also showed up in his undies and while the wife seemed impressed, I really didn't need to see it.

Our favourite golfer Natalie Gulbis (way better than Tiger Woods as far as we are concerned) is on the Celebrity Apprentice. While we think that show is a bunk of crap and we can't stand The Donald (does anyone care any more about Donald Trump and his hair?), we are always happy to have a chance to see Natalie. The pic here is her dressed up as a super hero as part of one of her team's challenges.

Former Vols superstar Candace Parker lights up the cover of ESPN The Magazine with her killer smile. She also certainly fills up the cover with her belly. The PR for the issue promotes it as the first cover featuring a pregnant athlete. Is that surprising? Unless LeBron, Kobe, Peyton or Manny are slated for some Sweedish operations I don't think we'll see it again soon.

Some think the pic is great. But Parker (who is the sister of Toronto Raptors guard Anthony Parker) has taken some heat for the pregnancy, which came before she married the T-Wolves Shelden Williams, who once played for the hated Duke University Dookies. Even some thought she should have better planned her baby around the WNBA season!

In other, sports mom's news, the New York Times has a feature on USC cutie Brynn Cameron, who is the baby mamma of the Cardinals' Matt Leinart.

Tennis superstar recently announced that his girlfriend Mirka Vavrinec is pregnant with the couple's first child. In publicizing the announcement DeadSpin.com (always a great read) ran the headline: "Roger Federer and Dowdy-Looking Woman to Become Parents."

Scoring at a rate better than all but one female and male player in all NCAA divisions, Texas A&M-Commerce's Britney Jordan certainly knows what to do with a basketball. In her past, she also demonstrated some skill with a poll.
After leaving Temple University before her sophomore season, Jordan worked off and on as an exotic dancer in the Philadelphia area to make ends meet and as she says just to "exist." A&M-Commerce gave her a shot and she certainly took advantage of it.
She is averaging just over 30 a game and dropped a conference record 53 points in January.

Curling? Yup, we're serious. Winnipeg's Jennifer Jones just won something called the Scotties Tournament of Hearts for the second year and third time. It is Canada's women's curling championship.

Jones did it in dramatic fashion by surviving the strange "page" playoff system and making some big shots when it counts. While her on ice success is certainly evident, it is her looks that steal our hearts. She has that wonderful blonde mane and a great toothy grin. Besides, doesn't it turn you on when a woman yells hurry hard?

Unfortunately, Jones is not one of the nude ladies featured in the latest Women of Curling calendar.

Also, in spite of her sexiness, Jones has not been featured in a metal band video like the Swedish women's Olympic rink was a few years back.

The gorgeous and freckled Bar Refaeli, also known as that goofball from the Titantic's main squeeze, has earned her spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The teasing pose will certainly heat up bathrooms across North America this winter.
There was talk Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend could lose the cover if she didn't keep her mouth shut. Thank goodness she did or we would have been deprived!

This week's stretch is not much of one. When the Super Bowl kicks off Sunday, Kate Mara will be enthusiastically backing the Steelers. The Shooter hottie is the great-granddaughter of Pittsburgh Steelers founder Art Rooney. When the Steelers won in 2006 Mara was working on a movie and missed it so she now puts it in contract that if Pittsburgh or the New York Giants (more on that later) makes the Super Bowl she gets to go. That's our kind of girl!

Now, about the Giants ... her great-grandfather Tim Mara founded the franchise and her grandfather, the late Wellington Mara, owned the team. Her uncle, John, is the squad's president and CEO while her dad, Chris Mara, is the Giants' vice-president of player evaluation. Wow! That'd be a nice family to join.

However, Kate certainly has her own charms. She is charming, in a shy kind of way, in interviews and has become a solid actress. I first noticed her in the failed drama Jack and Bobby, where she was the pot smoker who dated a track star whose brother would become president. I also liked her in 24. She was also a cheerleader in We Are Marshall.

As far as looks go, she is an intresting mix. She has a great little body, amazing eyes, nice lips, great hair and a pretty face. Mara has this cute and innocent thing going on but is still definitely sexy.

Cameron has a unique, athletic, California kind of look. The USC basketball player has been pretty good on the court recently, earning a Pac-10 Player of the Week award.

He also used to allegedly date Paris Hilton, the hotel heiress, reality TV star, "star" of the bomb Hottie and the Nottie and ... well ... sex tape superstar. Except for the fact that she is famous for being famous, I really don't get Paris' appeal. She doesn't seem real friendly and there are concerns about her smarts. I really don't think she is really that smoking hot.

Kristin Cavallari also apparently landed the Super Bowl bound pivot. Her claim to fame was her role in Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and she has appeared in some TV shows (Veronica Mars, CSI: New York) and is set to be some movies. Her career might not be amazing, but she is nice to look at. She has a nice body, a pretty face and great smile.

Who will win the Super Bowl on the field Sunday? The bigger question is who has the hottest wives and girlfriends.

Marks played for women's pro football for the Miami Fury for four years and suited up for the Florida Stingrays for a season. According to her website, the South Dakota-born but Florida raised Marks had great arm strength and pinpoint accuracy on her passes. Her site boats she is one of the best QBs to ever play women's football (is that an accomplishment?).

Now Marks is a radio sports jock for 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore. She recently inked a contract to stay for another year. This was seemingly not good news to some of the station's listeners.

Her voice and opinions might not impress the Baltimore sports faithful, but her looks must. Marks, who appeared in Playboy in 2002, is an interesting combination. I think her face looks a lot like Sarah Jessica Parker's. Pics on her website show her snuggling with a pooch and just like SJP, Marks can pull off that "cute .. aaah" look. However, unlike Mrs. Matthew Broderick, Marks can also look pretty hot. I think her somewhat unusual mane only adds to her look and she has a pretty hot little body. Gymnastic hottie Alicia Sacramone is apparently dating Brown University defensive back Eric Hunt. How on earth did she choose him over me?
Is it the fact that he is an athlete? Or, as he is at Brown, probably pretty smart? Or, as a girl here says, handsome? I just don't get it.

Having been recently transfer-listed because of reported gambling matters Dino Drpic of Dinamo Zagreb is not having the best luck of lately. However, don't feel too bad for him.

He is married to this frool-worthy model Nives Celzijus. While promoting her book called Gola Istina (The Naked Truth), she told a Serbian talk show:

"Dino had arranged that people should turn on the stadium lights for us and he finally fulfilled his dream of having sex in the middle of a football pitch. It was very naughty."

The gorgeous Ana Ivaovic was upset at the Australian Open by 19-year-old Russian Alisa Kleybanova. Also losing out was the leggy Daniela Hantuchova, No. 19, who lost to the cute Alize Cornet.

There was a lot of talk about the youngsters and the new faces who would be competing at this year's United States Figure Skating Championships. However, after the short program, 21-year-old Bowling Green State University cutie Alissa Czisny (above with former Canadian skater Liz Manley) is in the lead. She is certainly someone worth cheering for.

It is Friday, so let's make a stretch and take a look at a lovely lady who is not exactly tied to sports.

This Italian American has attracted a lot of attention lately - and not all of it because of her good looks. Marisa Tomei has been nominated for best supporting actress Oscar for playing an aging stripper in The Wrestler, with the title role of the washed-up star embodied by Mickey Rourke. Tomei, who also got a Golden Globes nom for the role, already has an Academy Award for her hilarious performance in My Cousin Vinny.

I once tried to go see Daredevil in order to stare at the amazing Jennifer Garner. However, the movies switched (I was a moron and read the paper wrong) I ended up seeing Anger Management instead and was pleased to get to see this hottie on the big screen.

Along with her obvious acting talent, Tomei has great hair, an amazing smile and, although they are not amazing, nice breasts. A friend of mine says Tomie is a little too skinny now (check her out on Ellen), but I still think she looks fine. Although her character in The Wrestler worries about aging, this 40-something has aged like a fine wine. OK, big time cliche! But it's true.

I love AskMen.com. It is always a great read and has lots of photos of lovely ladies to look at. However, the site has me fired up as its Top 99 Most Desirable Women list has overlooked some extremely gorgeous and hot athletes and former athletes.

In total, the AskMen list, topped by Eva Mendes, includes seven athletes: . This is including two former "wrestlers," we can have the debate about whether they are actually athletes later.

Here is my top 10 of the sports ladies who were overlooked by AskMen and should be given their due:
10. Amanda Beard - I always thought that Beard had a unique face that could be gorgeous in some photos and at times a little less so, but former Playboy covergirl's toned body is definitely hot.
9. Gro Hammerseng - This stunning Norwegian handballer would rank even higher, except that she is dating a handballer - a cute female teammate. It's not that we have anything against this, it just means that she probably won't join us in bed.
8. Jelena Jankovic - Currently ranked No. 1 in the world, the exotic Serb is looking for her first major title - and looking good while doing it. She also always has something funny to say.
7. Alicia Sacramone - This U.S. gymnast wasn't at her best on the mat this summer but she still showed she is one of the best in the world. As well, her looks had us mesmerized. She is trying to get into fashion and I caught her on a Golden Globes red carpet show earlier this month (the wife made me watch it, OK?)
6. Karina Petroni - Is surfing a sport? This girl is just gorgeous.
5. Alexandra Orlando - The Canadian rhythmic gymnast topped webtv.hub's list of the 50 sexiest female competitors at the Olympics this summer.
4. Anna Rawson - Forget about Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman, Rawson is the real Aussie stunner. She has earned a spot on the LPGA tour for the 2009 season.
3. Lauren Jackson - Another Aussie. The Olympian, Seattle Storm hoopster and WNBA MVP is a tall drink of water - and I have never looked at water like this before. She doesn't mind doing nude shoots. That is a definite bonus.
2. Ashley Force - The drag racer is known for her speed on the track, for being John Force's little girl and for her killer good looks. In 2007, she topped an AOL Sports Poll for being the hottest athlete - male or female.
1. Natalie Gulbis - This girl makes golf worth watching. She is amazing to look at and has a fun personality.

So, that is my top 10 and I didn't even include retired athletes like Anna Kournikova (I mean, how can they leave her off) or Gabrielle Reece.
