Why are there two North Pole?

The Geographic or Terrestrial North Pole is situated in the middle of the Arctic sheet and is the northernmost point on Earth, at which all lines of longitude converge. However, there is also a North Magnetic Pole which is the point in the Northern Hemisphere at which the Earth’s magnetic field points vertically down. This point moves every year in accordance with the Earth’s magnetic core. This week, Parker Liautaud, a record-breaking polar adventurer and environmental advocate, is endeavouring to become the youngest person in history to ski to the North Pole at just 16 years old!
